The Annual Event/European Cooperation Day have now came to past. During the one-and-a-half-day event, we went on a journey to learn more about the impact of our programme in the region; we participated in a quiz to learn more about what we have achieved so far thanks to our projects, we got to hear inspirational speeches about how our programme and projects are appreciated by those who have been touched by them and we played an orieenteering game to get to know better some of our projects.

Annual Event - Reflections

On November 14 and 15 the Central Baltic Programme celebrated its annual event. The main theme this year was “Finding Synergies in Cross-border Cooperation Projects”.

Day one opened with a “project village" networking event at which over 75 representatives from 45 projects shared information about their projects and achievements.

Annual Event 2018

The Central Baltic programme’s Annual Event 2018 will be held on 14-15 November in Turku, Finland.

The focus of the event are project synergies which will be looked at from different perspectives. The first day will focus on finding synergies with and among Central Baltic projects. An information session outlining the features and criteria of the fourth call of the Central Baltic Programme took place in Riga on 14 August. There were fifty or more potential applicants in attendance, long-term cooperation partners as well as many new faces, representing the planning regions, municipalities, universities, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and the Industry and Employers’ Confederation of Latvia.

How do you grow digital presence and increase engagement with different stakeholders? How do you remain relevant and communicate results? These questions, as well as tips and tricks on how to improve project communication were the center of attention when 11 representatives from 8 Central Baltic projects participated in a network meeting arranged in Stockholm by the Swedish Contact Points.
