The Annual Event and the European Cooperation Day celebrations are just over a month away. The arrangements are running at full speed as we want to make the event as interesting and valuable as possible. Our project applicant seminar took place in Tallinn on Wednesday 7 December. The presentations guide partnerships that are in an advanced planning phase and are going to submit their application for the third call. The event was streamed live and recorded, and you can watch it here!

The European Cooperation Day is held annually in September.  This year the event was organised for the fifth time on September 21st and the surrounding days.  During the EC Day week, the national Contact Points of the Central Baltic Programme arranged many events aimed at promoting cross-border cooperation among pupils and high school students.

Happy European Cooperation Day!

This week we gather around the Central Baltic Programme region to celebrate the European Cooperation Day -- a day that highlights the achievements of territorial cooperation. During the week, events arranged by our national Contact Points take place in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and on Åland.

Celebrate the EC Day with us in September

Each year we gather to celebrate the things we do and achieve together. We do this in the form of the European Cooperation Day. Last year the Central Baltic Programme, together with people from all over our programme region, joined forces to clean our beaches. This year we visited schools in each of our countries, gave talks about cross-border cooperation and asked what pupils thought about it. We recorded their answers and are preparing a short video that will be published in September. Additionally, pupils also drew their thoughts. ... Read more

The Swedish Contact Points together with the Swedish Institute organise a conference on 16 June to discuss how more Swedish organisations can participate in Central Baltic-projects.  The conference will be held in Swedish and is aimed at Swedish organisations interested to learn more about the Central Baltic-programme and its intern linkages with the EU Baltic Sea Strategy and Swedish national programmes.
