HeritageHunters&Business training event in Imatra

oung people from Estonia and Finland will meet again in Imatra on 26–27 November as part of the HeritageHunters&Business cross-border training programme.

The two-day event will continue the participants’ learning journey by exploring how local nature and cultural heritage can be turned into sustainable entrepreneurial ideas. The programme brings together young people, trainers and project partners from both countries and combines entrepreneurship learning with practical and experiential activities.

An important part of the Imatra event will be the presentation of the young participants’ business ideas. During the training programme, the participants have been developing their own ideas based on their interests, skills and local natural and cultural heritage. In Imatra, they will have an opportunity to present these ideas, receive feedback and learn from each other.

Throughout the HeritageHunters&Business programme, participants develop their entrepreneurial mindset, learn to recognise the business potential of local heritage and gain practical experience in turning an initial idea into a more concrete business concept. The international learning environment also helps young people build networks, exchange experiences and gain new perspectives through cooperation between Estonia and Finland.

The Imatra event is part of the HeritageHunters&Business – Using the Local Nature and Cultural Heritage for Entrepreneurship project, implemented under the Interreg Central Baltic Programme 2021–2027 and co-funded by the European Union.
