Industrial symbiosis – an opportunity for entrepreneurs

On November 27, a seminar on sustainable production and the use of residual resources will be held in Valmiera, Latvia. Everyone interested, and especially local entrepreneurs are invited!

Time: 13:00–15:30

The seminar will provide an opportunity to learn what is industrial symbiosis and how it helps companies to collaborate in order to use resources more efficiently, reduce production costs and create new products with high added value.

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a practical lesson, map their resource flows and find new cooperation opportunities for sustainable entrepreneurship.

Valmiera Development Agency and Valmiera Makerspace DARE Circular Economy and Sustainability Project Manager Māris Ozols will present the latest news and planned activities of the project “SustainaCycle”.

The seminar is organized by Cleantech Latvia in Collaboration with Valmiera Development Agency and their projects  “SustainaCycle” and  “Waste as Resources in Latvia – Promoting Regional Sustainability and Circularity by Introducing the Concept of Utilizing Waste as a Resource”.
