Insights to stormwater treatment in Lahti

On August 26 2025, activities and results concerning the possibilities of utilising demolition waste for stormwater treatment were presented in a StoPWa project event in Lahti, Finland. Along with that, goals and actions aimed at improving circular economy and stormwater management in the city of Lahti were introduced to the audience of project staff and stakeholders.

Site visits were made to a construction and demolition waste facility, the stormwater field pilot site in Lahti and an other type of stormwater management site.
