Kick-off meeting in Tartu
The Baltic Circular Threads project held its official kick-off meeting on 16–18 June 2025 at the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries (TCCI) in Estonia. The meeting brought together the Lead Partner SA Tartu Centre for Creative Industries (Estonia) and project partners Mikkelin kehitysyhtiö Miksei Oy (Finland) and Etelä-Savon ammattiopisto (ESEDU, Finland) to align expectations and launch joint activities.
Over the three days, partners introduced their organisations, clarified roles, and reviewed the project’s goals focused on empowering young innovators in sustainable fashion and design. The agenda covered Central Baltic Programme rules, communication requirements, indicators, and documentation standards. Partners discussed the structure of the planned 10-module training programme, division of tasks, coordination of events, recruitment of participants, and reporting responsibilities.
The meeting included a visit to the HOPP Design store and time for informal networking. Partners agreed on initial deliverables and next steps, including finalising module content, preparing marketing activities, and setting up the workflow for reporting and communication.
This kick-off meeting laid a clear foundation for effective collaboration throughout the project.
