Sales to the Nordics

ESCALTECH is excited to invite you to learn more about “Sales to the Nordics” with our esteemed trainer Christian Malmsten. Christian brings over 30 years of experience in complex sales, with a proven track record of guiding early-stage startups to paying customers and sustainable growth. Christian combines deep knowledge of the Swedish and Nordic markets with hands-on expertise in transferring sales skills, which he has extensive experience from working with Umeå University, Uminova Innovation, Umeå Biotech Incubator, eXpression, and Ignite Sweden. His tailored training and individual coaching equip participants with practical strategies and cultural insights to succeed in selling to Nordic customers, particularly in Sweden.
- Goal: To provide participants with knowledge for the Nordic markets, with a special focus on Sweden. Christian will also provide methods and structures in order to succeed in B2B sales by optimizing the sales process.
Date and format: A 3-hour session conducted in hybrid format on Tuesday 28.10.2025 at 10-13 in Helsinki and online (we will have lunch after the training with on-site participants).
Here are some things that you will learn about:
- Get an overall picture of the Nordic and Swedish market
- Understand the difference between the private and public sector
- What is the difference between verifying and selling
- Understand the customer and sales process (B2B)
- Get a structure for an initial meeting focusing on analyzing needs, as well as for presenting a tailormade solution
- Understand what we can learn from objections
- Negotiation and successful methods for cold calls
