Satahanka XIV marine scouts camp in Nagu

On July 22, 2025, the Satahanka XIV marine scouts camp in Nagu, Pargas (Finland) hosted a lively fair that brought together around 1,500 participants from across Finland and abroad. Scouts and their visiting families filled the area with energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for the sea.
At the fair, project manager Carolin from KAT introduced both the association and the ongoing Re:fish project. With banners and a roll-up display, the stand became a meeting point where visitors stopped to learn more and share their own thoughts on marine protection and sustainable fishing.
The event was a unique chance to reach young people and their families, many of whom are active or future recreational fishers, and to spark conversations about how we can all contribute to healthier seas.
