On 1 August 2025, we launched the building reuse project Waste to Value, aiming to increase the reuse of building materials in Åland and Eskilstuna. By establishing two model reuse facilities, we want to show that it is both possible and profitable to reuse materials instead of sending them to landfill or recycling.

During this afternoon, we will give a short introduction to the project and hear an inspiring example from Västerås, where the social enterprise Återbygget works with circular flows in the construction industry.
