220 Women Are Moving Forward with AI
One month in, already positive results đź’ś
A total of 220 women began the SheCanAI programme: 110 from Estonia and 110 from Latvia. They come from a wide range of backgrounds, but share a desire and a need to build AI skills so they can keep pace with changes in the job market.
The AI training began on 1 September. After about a month of learning, participants have reached Module 2, and the positive progress is already clear. Many are putting what they learn into practice at work, in their businesses, and in everyday life.
“I’m currently in Module 2 and have already applied two of the tools from the course in my workplace, with another idea I’d like to test next,” one participant shared. She added: “My goal throughout the program is to see where AI can genuinely make our everyday work more efficient and convenient, rather than introducing tools just for the sake of using AI.”
The programme is helping participants build confidence, too. As another participant put it: “Before, I would simply listen quietly from the sidelines.” Now, “the course is also giving me the confidence to participate in discussions about AI and share my own opinions and ideas.”
Learning together matters just as much. Participants are sharing ideas, helping one another through challenges, and finding ways to stay connected as teams. “Our team is very responsive and I’m really happy to be part of it,” one participant wrote.
In just a month, we can already see new skills turning into practical results and growing confidence. We’re excited to see what the participants create as the programme continues! 💜
