Circular Solutions Shaping Bromma’s Transformation

In Ulvsunda, just outside Stockholm, #Skanska is transforming #bryggerietbromma into an area with extensive potential. This is part of Stockholm currently undergoing a transition from industrial and warehouse use into a mixed-use district, enabling sports, culture, and community.

Reuse is a central component of the project. For example, #Stocket has handled approximately 2,000 seats from Globen/Avicii Arena—cleaned, refurbished, repainted, and reupholstered with new fabric. In addition, lighting fixtures, glass sections, and materials previously hidden above ceiling panels have been carefully recovered and repurposed.

Each decision has been preceded by thorough discussions on viability, considering both sustainability and economic perspectives. The team’s commitment to these topics—and their willingness to take informed, forward-looking decisions—is clear.

The involvement of the labor market unit, working hands-on with reuse—cleaning, repairing, and maintaining materials—adds a practical and socially valuable dimension to the project.
