Event: Stakeholder workshop on data integrations

The DIGIMARIS project will organise a Stakeholder workshop SmartResponseWeb and USV data integration on 20 October 2026 at the TalTech Estonian Maritime Academy in Tallinn, bringing together experts and organisations involved in maritime safety, oil spill response, environmental monitoring, technology development, and research.

The workshop will present the project’s ongoing work to improve preparedness for oil spill response through digital solutions and new technologies. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the SmartResponseWeb platform and the planned integration of data collected by unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and environmental sensors.

The programme will provide an overview of recent sensor testing activities and introduce plans for the further development of digital tools that support situational awareness and decision-making during maritime pollution incidents.

In addition to project presentations, the workshop will include an interactive discussion session where stakeholders can share their perspectives, identify practical use cases, and provide feedback to support future development.

Target groups

This workshop is an invitation-only event intended for organisations involved in oil spill response, maritime safety and security, environmental monitoring, emergency response, maritime operations, technology development, and research.

The 20 October workshop forms part of DIGIMARIS’ ongoing stakeholder engagement activities. Collaboration with stakeholders and end-users will continue throughout 2027 through workshops and webinars, helping to ensure that the solutions developed within the project meet practical operational needs and support effective cooperation in oil spill preparedness and response.
