FestiSkills Hunters module 8: event ideas pitching and projects implementation

On 27 January 2026, the FestiSkills Hunters training programme reached an exciting milestone with Module 8: Event Ideas Pitching and Project Implementation, bringing together participants from Estonia and Finland to showcase their creative festival and event concepts.

During this session, participants presented their project ideas, discussed what makes a successful event, and received feedback from trainers and peers. Highlights included a presentation by Riina Mikkonen on effective event pitching and practical insights on designing impactful events.

This module combined creative thinking, practical planning, and professional coaching, preparing participants to implement their pilot projects and strengthen their skills in festival and event management.

Module 8 marks a key step in the FestiSkills Hunters programme, empowering women aged 40+ from rural and remote areas in Estonia and Finland to turn their ideas into real, professionally managed events.

The lead partner of the project is the Peipsi Center for Transboundary Cooperation and the Finnish partner is The Black & White Theatre Association. The project is funded by the Central Baltic Programme 2021–2027. The project duration is May 2025 to August 2026.
