Scale up together! partners met in Helsinki

The project Scale up together! started in May 2025, and the partners from the three Central Baltic countries gathered in Helsinki. Aim was to get to know each other and plan the more detailed content and implementation methods of the project’s measures, as well as the scheduling.

The project involves five partners from the three Central Baltic countries of Finland, Estonia and Sweden. The project’s activities are mainly focused on the archipelago and coastal areas, so Åland is also involved.

The main target group is rural businesses in the food and tourism sector that are interested in scaling up. Cross-border SME groups allow for collaboration on new product/process ideas, objective feedback and peer support/guidance.

As a first step, it was decided to organize a webinar where companies that have done scaling up will open their own experiences. This kick off webinar will take place on the 21st of October. At the same time, the content of Innocamp, which will be held in Åland at the end of January for companies in the target group, will be presented. Innocamp is the starting point for companies’ own scale up operations and joint training.
