European Commission has adopted our new Programme
The Central Baltic Programme 2021-2027 has been adopted on 7 June 2022 by the European Commission.
The programme area consists of parts of Finland, including Åland, Estonia, Latvia, and Sweden.
In the coming years, our programme will support cross-border cooperation projects with 118 million euros, financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). We must use money wisely for the benefit of 27 regions with more than 10 million inhabitants.
On 31 March 2022, we have already closed our first call for proposals with 82 submissions. We are working on the assessments of the submitted applications. The decisions on which small projects are approved and which regular projects can proceed to the second step are taken by the Programme Monitoring Committee on 28-29 June 2022.
