PO7 Networking Event in Kuldīga, Latvia: From Project to Practice
The Central Baltic Programme invites PO7 projects to participate in the Programme Objective 7 Workshop and Networking Event: “From Project to Practice – Making Public Service Improvements Last”, taking place on 29–30 September 2026 in Kuldīga, Latvia.
This two-day event will bring together PO7 project representatives to reflect on what works in public service development, explore lessons learned, and discuss how project results can continue creating impact beyond project lifetimes. Through interactive group work, participants will examine topics such as participatory approaches, project management, stakeholder engagement, target groups and long-term sustainability of project outcomes.
The programme also includes practical demonstrations of project results. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the microplastic sample collection method developed by the CLEAN Beach project and explore on-demand transport solutions developed by the SuRuMo project.
A draft agenda is already available and provides a detailed overview of the programme:
The workshop will be held at DUNA Concert Hall, Kaļķu iela 16, Kuldīga, Latvia. Participants are expected to arrange and cover their own travel and accommodation costs, which may be eligible under project travel and accommodation budgets where applicable.
Registration
If you represent a PO7 project, we warmly encourage you to join us in Kuldīga. Registration is open until 12 September 2026. Guidance for the group work will be shared with registered participants before the event.
This is an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences with fellow projects, gain practical insights, strengthen your network and contribute to discussions on how public service improvements can achieve lasting impact across the Central Baltic region.
