Re:Fish at Vene 25 Båt Fair

Re:Fish project participated in the Vene 25 Båt Fair 7–16 February 2025 in Helsinki. Keep the Archipelago Tidy promoted the project throughout the fair and demonstrated i.e. the collection campaign of EOL gear in the Archipelago Sea area, which will be continuing in summer 2025. Visitors were also encouraged to do citizen science observations on lost and found fishing gear and other types of litter with the Rosgis app by the Finnish Environment Institute.

In addition to Re:Fish, the KAT’s fair stand also featured the project PlastLIFE that aims to reduce the harm caused by plastic and various types of litter.

The Vene 25 Båt was arranged simultaneously in the same premises with the Helsinki Outdoor & Hunting Fair. Both events were available with the same ticket and attracted together approximately 67 500 visitors.
