60 Newly Approved Projects Begin their Central Baltic Journey

We welcomed representatives of 60 newly approved projects to a two-day Lead Partner Seminar in Tallinn. The seminar marked an important step for the new projects as they prepare for implementation. Over two days, lead partners and project representatives received practical guidance on how to move from approval to implementation and how to build strong foundations for successful cross-border cooperation.

The programme covered a wide range of topics. Participants learned more about how to make project partnerships work in practice, what administrative and technical preparations are needed before projects can fully start, and what rules apply to eligibility, reporting, communication and visibility.

A strong focus was also placed on learning from experience. Project representatives Sonja Jaari from John Nurminen Foundation and Teresia Blomberg from Turku University of Applied Sciences shared practical insights from their own projects. Sonja Jaari spoke about partnership cooperation and project management lessons, while Teresia Blomberg shared experiences on communication, impact and how to make project results more visible and useful.

Each project also had the opportunity to pitch its idea to the wider group, helping participants understand the diversity of topics, partnerships and expected results among the newly funded projects. Workshops and group discussions gave participants space to exchange ideas, ask questions and reflect together on how to turn project plans into real outcomes.

Soon, we will also launch the project Webspaces for the new projects. These Webspaces will give each project its own place on the programme website to introduce its work, share news and events, publish updates, and later present results and other project materials.

The 60 newly approved projects will now continue with their start-up preparations and begin implementing activities across the Central Baltic region. We will continue supporting them throughout the project lifecycle, from the first implementation steps to achieving and communicating results. Good luck, fly high!
