Strong Interest in Summer Programme – EMI Brings Together Migrant Youth from Finland and Latvia
Strong interest in the entrepreneurial mindset among migrant youth in Finland and Latvia led the EMI project to launch an extra training group in summer. The decision quickly paid off, as over 60 applications followed the announcement. Sign-ups came in from both locations, particularly from Riga, a larger city with a wealth of educational institutions. Lappeenranta also received 10 applications. The enthusiastic response highlights the demand for meaningful summer opportunities to learn, connect, and build skills.
Through its training activities, the EMI project encourages young people to take positive steps towards their future careers. By bringing together participants from different countries and backgrounds, the programme creates an environment where experiences can be shared, new friendships can be formed, and valuable skills can be developed. As the summer activities begin, participants can look forward to gaining new insights, expanding their networks, and becoming part of an international community that values learning, inclusion, and cooperation.
