Everyday life continues

People’s everyday lives include work, school, daycare, grocery shopping and events. It is important to know that loved ones are safe in their own homes. Although the war of aggression continues, Ukraine still needs continuity in everyday life and security.

As a country seeking EU membership, Ukraine is committed to building functioning trade relations, combating corruption and modernising its infrastructure.

At an event organised by the Confederation of Finnish Industries in Helsinki on 16 June 2026, Ukraine’s situation, reconstruction needs and services supporting companies in establishing cooperation with Ukrainian partners were highlighted.

A number of services were present, including the FinEst4Ukraine project, which promotes networking between Finnish and Estonian companies and Ukraine. Support for market entry is also provided by the Pro Ukraina project, as well as by Finnfund, Finnpartnership, and Finnvera with their financing solutions.
