Invitation: Opening of a new reuse construction shop at ReTuna, Eskilstuna
Eskilstuna takes another step towards circular construction with the opening of a new shop for reused building materials at ReTuna Återbruksgalleria.
The opening will take place on two separate occasions:
13 August – Exclusive preview for invited guests (09:00–11:00)
Stakeholders from the construction sector are invited to an exclusive preview of the new shop. During the event, participants will gain insights into the potential of reuse and the future of sustainable construction. The programme includes a presentation by Per Holst from Återbygget, followed by a guided visit to the shop before its official opening.
Participation is free of charge, but places are limited and registration is required via the invitation link: Anmälan 13/8 – Eskilstuna kommun
14 August Public opening – Official inauguration
The shop will also open to the general public during an official inauguration including a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Opening speeches will be held by the Chair of the Municipal Executive Board of Eskilstuna and the CEOs of ESEM/EEM, the organisation responsible for ReTuna.
This initiative is part of the Interreg Central Baltic project Waste to Value, aiming to increase the reuse of construction materials and promote more resource-efficient building practices.
