Scaling Organic kicked off in Finland
On October 27th, Luomuliitto hosted the first workshop for the farms and companies taking part in the Scaling Organic program. The focus of the workshop was for the participants to get to know each other and gain a deeper understanding of each other’s needs by reflecting to each other.
The Scaling Organic kick-off event in Finland brought together all the Finnish farms and companies participating in the program. The event was held at Hakolan Marjatila, an organic berry farm, providing an inspiring setting for the first gathering of the Finnish group.
During the day, the participants had the opportunity to get to know each other and introduce their farms, companies and activities. This gave everyone a better understanding of the different businesses involved in the program and created a good starting point for future cooperation and exchange of experiences.
The day also included group work, where participants shared their ideas about growth and discussed topics relevant to the development of their businesses. In addition, the participants learned about potential national funding opportunities that could support their future development and investments.
The kick-off workshop was a successful opportunity to bring the Finnish Scaling Organic participants together for the first time and start building connections that will carry out throughout the program. The Finnish farms and companies are very motivated and inspired to move forward and to scale up their businesses.
At the end of the day the host of Hakolan Marjatila told the story of her farm’s development. It was incredible to hear what she had achieved! We couldn’t have wished for a better location for the workshop: authentic berry farm with delicious, self-made organic food and extremely friendly hosts.
