SECOND CALL
SUBMISSION IN JEMS:

Jems closes: 10.3.2023

The deadline is at 12:00 Eastern European Time (12:00 in Finland (including Åland), Estonia, Latvia and 11:00 in Sweden.

The opening and closing dates are the same across small and regular project applications.

Second step for regular projects

Applications for regular projects selected for the second step application phase must be submitted in Jems between 25 September 2023 and 16 October 2023 (at 12:00 EET). Decisions on the second step will be taken by the Monitoring Committee early in February 2024.

Two types of projects: small and regular

As you can see, the call is open for two types of projects: small projects and regular projects. Both small projects and regular projects can submit project proposals via the joint electronic monitoring system Jems. It is strongly recommended not to leave the submission to the last moments of the call.

The small projects fill in and submit the application form in Jems once. For regular projects, the application procedure is done in two steps. Only those regular project applications passing the first step will continue to the second step to fill in the whole application with all annexes.

Assessment and decision making

The received applications are assessed by the Joint Secretariat after the call is closed. The decisions on which small projects are approved and which regular projects can proceed to the second step are taken by the Programme Monitoring Committee consisting of representatives from each participating Member State.

The Monitoring Committee will meet on the 7-8 June 2023. The list of approved project acronyms will be published on the programme website on 8th of June, based on the Monitoring Committee decisions. The time for submitting the second step application in Jems is 25.09-16.10.2023. The second step decisions will be made in early February 2024.
