Join Our Team: Apply for Open Positions in the Joint Secretariat

The Regional Council of Southwest Finland is recruiting colleagues to the Joint Secretariat for the Interreg Central Baltic Programme 2021-2027. The Central Baltic cross-border cooperation programme includes regions from Estonia, Finland (including Åland), Latvia and Sweden.

The Regional Council of Southwest Finland is now looking for members of staff for the implementation of the programme. This round of recruitment will complement the team and allow the programme’s full-scale implementation.

The recruitment is open for the following positions:

  • Project manager (Circular economy)
  • Project manager (Capitalisation of project results)

The Interreg Central Baltic Programme supports cross-border cooperation between Finland (including Åland), Estonia, Latvia, and Sweden. With a €152 million budget from the European Regional Development Fund, the programme aims to enhance the quality of life in the region by addressing common challenges and opportunities.

It focuses on fostering economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social well-being by funding high-quality cooperative projects in four key areas: business development, environmental and resource management, employment opportunities, and public services.

By promoting cross-border collaboration and sustainable growth, the programme seeks to create a more connected, competitive, and sustainable region.
