Submission Period Now Open for Fifth Call Project Proposals

The Central Baltic Programme has now entered a key phase of its Fifth Call for Project Proposals: as of today, 1 August 2025, applicants can submit their project applications through the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (Jems).

While the Fifth Call itself has been open since March this year, allowing applicants time to prepare their proposals, the official submission window is now open and will remain so until 30 September 2025 at 12:00 EET (11:00 in Sweden). Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered, so timely completion is essential.

The call welcomes both regular and small project applications using the one-step application process in Jems. All seven Programme Objectives are available for this call, although Objective 7 – which focuses on improved public services – is open only for small projects. In total, approximately €35 million in ERDF funding is available for this round.

Organisations considering applying should ensure that their proposals align with the Programme’s objectives and quality criteria. The Programme Manual (version 6.1), together with detailed guides for applying for a project, remains available to support applicants in finalising their submissions.

Technical issues related to Jems can be directed to jems@centralbaltic.eu, while questions related to content, partnerships, or eligibility may be addressed to the Joint Secretariat – thematic contact details are available on the programme website. Applicants are encouraged to take advantage of the support resources and ensure their proposals are complete, coherent, and ready to submit ahead of the deadline.

The Programme looks forward to receiving high-quality applications that will contribute to smart, sustainable, and inclusive development across the Central Baltic region.
