The Joint Secretariat will contact the approved projects in the coming weeks. All these approved projects listed above will proceed to fulfil any conditions set for contracting. They will then address key challenges and opportunities in participating countries (Estonia, Finland, including Åland, Latvia, and Sweden) in areas such as business development, environment and resource use, employment opportunities, and public services.

Information about the rejected projects

All other submitted project applications not listed above have been rejected. Projects not approved by the Monitoring Committee will receive an Administrative Decision on Rejecting the Project Proposal from the Managing Authority by early April. This document will include the reasons for rejection (protocol note from the Monitoring Committee meeting) and information about the option to appeal this decision.

The Programme received a total of 111 project proposals for the Fourth Round of Calls. Among these, 79 were regular project applications submitted to the first step application phase, and 32 were small project applications which only have single step application procedure.

Following the initial decisions, 40 regular projects were selected to advance to the second-step application phase. Ultimately, 29 regular projects and 14 small project proposals were approved for funding. On average, 39% of all submitted proposals, encompassing both regular and small projects, were approved for funding by the Monitoring Committee in the Fourth Round of Calls for Project Proposals.

The Programme will allocate approximately 47 million euros to approved projects in the Fourth Round of Calls for Project Proposals.
