HeritageHunters&Business Cycle 2 Training Kick-off in Viljandi

The second training cycle of the HeritageHunters&Business project kick off in Viljandi, Estonia, bringing together more than 30 young people from Estonia and Finland.

The kick-off event introduces participants to the training programme and explores how local nature and cultural heritage can inspire sustainable entrepreneurship and new business ideas. Through interactive workshops, study visits and hands-on activities, participants will learn about heritage-driven entrepreneurship, creative thinking and cross-border cooperation.

During the programme, participants will explore both Estonian and Finnish perspectives on natural and cultural heritage and take their first steps in developing an entrepreneurial mindset. The programme also includes visits to local creative and heritage-based businesses and initiatives in Viljandi.

Study visits include Loomehoovik, where participants will discover local creative studios and heritage initiatives, as well as the Vilma creative hub and Bonifatius Guild, an authentic handicraft and small business centre.

The event is designed not only to provide new knowledge but also to help participants get to know each other, build an international network and identify opportunities for turning local heritage, skills, traditions and stories into entrepreneurial ideas.

The kick-off marks the beginning of the HeritageHunters&Business Cycle 2 training programme, which will continue with further training and mentoring activities.

The HeritageHunters&Business project is implemented under the Interreg Central Baltic Programme 2021–2027 and co-funded by the European Union.
