Re:Fish project participated in the Helsinki Outdoor & Hunting Fair on 7–9 February 2025. At the fair, the Re:Fish project researchers from the Finnish Environment Institute demonstrated the Rosgis app (rosgis.syke.fi) designed to collect different citizen science observations on litter, including lost and found fishing gear, and raised awareness on the harm caused by ALDFG. In addition to Re:Fish, the fair stand also featured two other projects (PlastLIFE and BIODIVERSEA) that aim to reduce the harm caused by plastic and various types of litter.

The Fair was arranged simultaneously in the same premises with Vene 25 Båt Fair, which focused on fishing and water activities. Both events were available with the same ticket and attracted more than 35 000 visitors during the 7–9 February.
