Silverskill Training Day 14: Intellectual Property in Entrepreneurship

The next session of the Silverskill training program will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at TalTech Virumaa College (Järveküla tee 75, Kohtla-Järve, Auditorium 9), starting at 11:00 AM.

Led by Jelizaveta Lazonen (IP strategy consultant, Estonian Business and Innovation Agency) and Anu Nuut (IP expert, TalTech), the training will explain what intellectual property is, why it matters, and how it can be protected and used in business.

This session is about Entrepreneurship Skills (Module 5).

Agenda:

  • 11:00 – 12:30 Understanding creativity and innovation in business. What are intellectual property rights? Why do they matter? Introduction to core IP types and principles of protection.
  • 12:30 – 13:00 Energy break – time to relax, enjoy snacks, and network.
  • 13:00 – 14:30 IP QUEST – an engaging educational game that makes learning about IP rights, costs, and strategic value fun and memorable.
