Silverskill Training Day 15: Trip to Kalda Farm

The upcoming Silverskill training day on Saturday, May 24, 2025, offers participants a hands-on learning experience in a rural entrepreneurship setting. The training will take place at Kalda Farm, owned by the Saar family, and will focus on small-scale, experience-based business models as part of the Entrepreneurship Skills (Module 5).

Agenda:

  • 10:15–10:30 Gathering in front of TalTech Virumaa College (bus departs at 10:30; stop at Jõhvi Market at 10:40)
  • 11:00–12:00 Group division and workshops:
    🔹 Soy wax scented candle workshop led by Eve Saar (Everest OÜ)
    🔹 Beer brewing theory and practice + brewery tour led by Jaak Saar (Õlleateljee OÜ)
  • 12:30–13:00 Coffee break and networking
  • 13:00–14:30 Completion of workshops and experience sharing

Eve and Jaak Saar will reflect on their entrepreneurial journey and lessons learned while running their own family businesses.
