Silverskill Training Day 17: Study Visits to Green and Circular Economy Enterprises

The next Silverskill training day will take participants on an exciting learning journey focused on green and circular economy entrepreneurship. As part of Module 5 – Entrepreneurship Skills, participants will visit two leading companies in Estonia’s green innovation sector to explore how sustainable energy and circular business models are applied in practice.

Agenda:

  • 08.00 – Departure by bus from TalTech Virumaa College
  • 10.00 – 12.00 Visit to Iru Power Plant (Enefit Green)
    – Production of electricity and heat from waste, green energy generation
    – Hosts: Kadri Korsten, Communications Manager, and Jekaterina Muravjova, Tour Program Manager
  • 12.00 – 12.30 Energy break – short rest and refreshments
  • 13.00 – 14.30 Visit to EKT Ecobio Plant
    – Environmentally friendly biogas production and implementation of circular economy models
    – Host: Kalle Grents, Development Manager at EKT Ecobio OÜ
