On January 29, 2026, Laurea UAS is hosting an event for immigrant women interested in learning about the recruitment process. Organized by Antonina Petrovic, a hybrid event, Auroras & CeMeWe Career Development Event is featuring Lena Belozerova, the founder of HR Community in Helsinki and Head of People & Culture at Verda, as the key speaker.
With 15 years of hands-on experience in HR, Lena Belozerova will focus on how the recruitment process works from the company’s perspective. Furthermore, as she has been rebuilding her career in Finland since 2019, Lena will also provide a valuable insight into the job searching and application process.
Thereby, the event is aimed at immigrant women who want to learn more about:
- Recruitment process;
- Job search tips;
- Practical tools for professional branding;
- Workshops for skill development.
Auroras & CeMeWe Career Development Event also launches Aurora’s spring 2026 mentoring groups. Such a project is aimed at improving the Finnish language knowledge amongst the immigrant women, to aid them in advancing within their careers. Thereby, the event will introduce Aurora’s activities and goal-setting for the mentoring period.
