BreedExpo2 achievments summarized in closing conference in Tartu

63 breeding specialists, export managers and farmers gathered in Tartu, Estonia in 09.of October 2025 for summarizing the good achievements of BreedExpo2 project during 2023-2025. The conference started with presentation from Hungarian export company “Agrota-2L”, who shared the latest trends and developments in breeding animals export market in Europe with main focus to the export to Eastern countries. Mr.Emils Censonis from Latvian Holstein Breeders Association shared the Latvian insights and experiences in animal export. Mrs. Minttu Liukko from Finnish Animal Breeders Association introduced Finnish breeding sector’s future perspectives in export. Mr. Tanel-Taavi Bulitko from Animal Breeders Association of Estonia shared the project BreedExpo2 outcomes from Estonian perspective. The export and breeding companies from all 3 countries – Estonia, Latvia, Finland- achieved good sales results and received new contacts for future cooperation opportunities in Azerbaijan, Turkey and Uzbekistan markets. At the end of the conference the panel discussion was held about the strenghts of future cooperation between breeding sectors from 3 countries. The conference was moderated by beef breeder Marko Hiiemäe from Sepa Veised OÜ.
