BuildGreen-Korea partners gathered in Tallinn for project kick-off

The BuildGreen-Korea project officially got underway as partners from Estonia, Finland, and Latvia gathered in Tallinn for the project kick-off meeting. The get-together brought all project partners together for the first time to connect, align on shared goals, and map out the activities ahead.

Over the course of the next three years, the project team will work to help sustainable construction SMEs strengthen their export readiness, develop joint market offerings, and establish long-term business opportunities in one of Asia’s most advanced and innovation-driven construction markets – South Korea.

We gathered at Woodhouse Estonia’s office at the Estonian Open Air Museum in Tallinn, where the unique architecture set a fittingly inspiring tone for the day. The meeting was rounded off with a dinner at Kolu Inn – an authentic 19th-century road inn – where traditional festive dishes provided the perfect backdrop for getting to know one another and reflecting on the inspiring discussions of the day.

We were also pleased to welcome Ülari Alamets from the Central Baltic Programme, whose participation added valuable programme-level perspective to our conversations.

Leaving the meeting, the team felt energized and ready to tackle the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
