CHAMP Project Kick-off in Helsinki

The CHAMP project has officially started with a kick-off meeting at Luckan in Helsinki, bringing together partners from Luckan (Finland) and the Swedish Red Cross Youth.

The meeting focused on introducing the partner organizations and their chat services, outlining the project’s vision – to provide young people in Finland and Sweden with safe, fast, anonymous and high-quality mental health support – and planning upcoming activities.

Key outcomes included:

• Planning the first workshop in Stockholm in January, 2026, and a second seminar in Finland in autumn 2026.
• Defining roles, responsibilities and reporting routines.
• Establishing the steering group with representatives from both countries and partner organizations.

We are truly excited to kick off CHAMP and to start working together on strengthening and professionalizing support chats for young people in the Central Baltic region.
