EMI partners’ workday in Lahti

The EMI project really kicked off on October 8th when the project partners from LAB University of Applied Sciences and LAB Futura met in Lahti. The team worked a day together, face to face, getting to know each other. The EMI team continued the work and clinched some important steps in planning the EMI hybrid training programme.

The multicultural team in Finland and Latvia works side by side to support young people with a migrant background — creating content that strengthens their opportunities for employment and participation in community life.

Our goal is not only to teach new skills but also to build self-confidence, encourage active participation, and help young people find a path towards independence and a sense of belonging in their community.
