Entrepreneurial mindset and idea development in Tampere

As part of the Succeed in Business training course, a two-day workshop was organized in Tampere to inspire and motivate participants to think entrepreneurially, strengthen their self-confidence, and explore new possibilities.

The workshop brought together a group of project participants to discover idea generation and assessment techniques, combining practical tools, interactive discussions, and hands-on learning experiences. The focus was on understanding where business ideas originate and how they can be developed.

The first day took place at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. The aim of the day was to build collaboration and foster connections among participants. The group explored the EntreComp framework, with a particular focus on ideas and opportunities, while warming up their creativity through interactive exercises. The day was enriched by an inspiring entrepreneurial story shared by Noora Hyttinen from Kasvussa Oy. Participants also became familiar with Proakatemia, the entrepreneurship-focused unit at TAMK, and its unique learning environment.

On the second day, the focus shifted to the core of entrepreneurship at Tribe Tampere. Participants were introduced to the Tribe community and its activities, while continuing their practical work with the EntreComp framework, concentrating on identifying their own strengths and areas for development. Katerina Crawford, Business Development Lead at Tribe Tampere, shared her entrepreneurial journey and presented the Tribe ecosystem. The day also highlighted local business opportunities and emphasized the important role of the Tampere Chamber of Commerce in promoting growth, networking, and collaboration.
