From Chaos to Clarity: What Growth Really Looks Like in the AV Industry?

AV-Growth project’s accelerator’s dissemination event, “From Chaos to Clarity: Real AV Stories of Growth in the New Normal” during Music X Media event 2026 brought together programme participants, mentors and industry experts to reflect on what growth means in an audiovisual sector that has changed dramatically in recent years.

As accelerator lead Fanny Heinonen from Film Tampere noted, the whole AV-Growth project was originally designed during a period of strong industry growth, when Nordic and Baltic stakeholders were looking to strengthen their capacity to attract larger international productions. However, when the project and the accelerator programme launched in 2024, the market had already shifted. Against this backdrop, AV-Growth became not only a growth programme but also a resilience programme.
