A new scaling-up programme tailored for rural enterprises in the food and beverage sector will be soon launched under the project Rural Enterprise Expansion Initiative – Rural-UP. This initiative is designed to support ambitious SMEs in Latvia, Estonia, and Finland on their journey toward sustainable growth, innovation, and internationalisation.

The programme will offer a structured 12-month support process that includes mentoring, expert consultations, learning activities, and international exposure. Participating companies will benefit from tailored guidance, access to cross-border networks, and opportunities to develop new products, enter new markets, and attract investment.

The official Open Call for applications will begin on 20 January 2026 and run until 16 February 2026.
Rural SMEs operating in the food and beverage sector or related industries (such as packaging or design) are encouraged to apply.
The programme is open to companies from Vidzeme and Latgale (Latvia), South Estonia, and Kymenlaakso (Finland).

Informative seminars and individual consultations will be organised in each country to support applicants during the call period.
All essential materials will be available in local languages, and the application process will be conducted online.
