In-person Communication Attracts Participants

Sometimes, the best way to reach people is to meet them where they are!

In the EMI project, we found out that face-to-face communication helps build trust, spark curiosity and make personal connections that encourage people to get involved. So, we have had quite a busy time promoting our second training programme pilot. By attending local events, visiting community spaces, and meeting young people in person, the project team introduced the EMI training directly, answered questions, and clarified what participation can offer.

Personal encounters make the project more visible and approachable, helping young people feel welcome. A conversation in the right place can be the beginning of a new connection! We are looking forward to the start of the pilot in September!
