New forestry deal in Brazil for Tamtron!

Tamtron, a Finnish company known for its advanced weighing solutions, has secured a new sales contract in the Brazilian market. The order comes from a forestry transport company subcontracting for Suzano, one of the largest pulp and paper producers in the world. We spoke to Tamtron about the deal, their entry into Brazil, and the role Bridging4Growth has played in their journey.

Congratulations on your new deal! Can you tell us a bit about Tamtron and the new contract?

We know that piercing into a new market can be hard. How did you prepare for the new market?

Entering the Brazilian market, like any new market, required careful planning. We carried out thorough research to understand local regulations, customer needs, and industry practices. Tamtron has been fortunate to partner with EMEX Brasil as our certified dealer for the forestry sector. In addition, our team focused on adapting our solutions to the specific requirements of the Brazilian timber industry, ensuring they meet both operational conditions and the unique needs of the logging sector.

How did the Bridging4Growth program support you?

Bridging4Growth has been valuable for Tamtron in our ongoing strategy for the Brazilian market. Our assigned mentors have provided guidance on market entry strategies, shared insights on navigating regulatory challenges, and offered advice on building a local network. This support greatly accelerated our understanding of the Brazilian market

Lastly, what’s your number one tip for companies expanding to new markets?

Invest in local knowledge, relationships, and on-the-ground visits. Success in a new market is not just about the product – it depends on understanding the local business culture, regulations, and customer needs, while building trusted partnerships. Establishing this foundation makes market entry and growth far more efficient and sustainable.
