Newly confirmed keynote speaker: Kelli Seppel
We are proud to share another of keynote speakers at our Final Conference: Kelli Seppel. She is an advisor in the Circular Economy department in the Estonian Ministry of Climate. Her main expertise is on developing policies and legal frameworks related to extended producer responsibility mechanisms and applying the polluter pays principle.
Over the past two years, Kelli has been involved in developing and shaping policies for establishing extended producer responsibility systems for fishing gear, exploring legal and policy measures to prevent and reduce its impact. In their keynote, Kelli will provide an overview of the current regulations and future directions aimed at supporting a cleaner and more sustainable marine environment.
