Online Webinar for Craft Cider Makers: “Introduction to the Australian Market”

On August 28, craft cider producers from Latvia, Estonia, and Finland participated in the first of a series of webinars designed to prepare them for exporting to Australia. The session was hosted by Gabe Cook (UK) – one of the world’s leading cider experts, widely known as The Ciderologist. Participants also heard from Warwick Billings, Chair of Cider Australia (the national industry association for Australian cider producers) and Founder of LOBO Cider, a premium craft cider brand from the Adelaide Hills. The webinar offered first-hand insights into the Australian cider landscape and covered key topics such as:
• General structure of the Australian cider market — producers, styles, volumes
• The role and activities of Cider Australia in the industry’s development
• Market trends, innovations, legal requirements, and marketing restrictions.
