Partner meeting and mid-term review in Turku on 21–22 May 2026

Project partners gathered in Turku on 21–22 May 2026 for a two-day meeting focused on reviewing project progress, planning upcoming activities, and strengthening collaboration towards the successful completion of the DiMod project. The meetings took place at the EduCity campus of Turku University of Applied Sciences in Kupittaa, Turku.

The first day began with a mid-term meeting attended by all project partners and the Central Baltic Programme representative, Normunds Strautmanis. The discussion focused on the project’s progress in relation to the objectives set in the application, including the achievement of planned outputs and results, upcoming activities, and any challenges encountered during implementation. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for open discussion and reflection on the project’s achievements to date.

In the afternoon, project partners continued with an internal partner meeting to review the status of project activities and deliverables. Partners discussed progress on the literature review, user-panel sessions, website development, the digital peer support model, patient-focused podcasts, recommendation materials, and activities aimed at healthcare professionals. The meeting also included a review of internal evaluation findings and preparations for the second reporting period.

The second day focused on collaboration between Turku University of Applied Sciences and Eesti Parkinsonliit. Discussions included an interview for a forthcoming DiMod article and other current project matters.

Overall, the meetings confirmed that the project is progressing well and that deliverables remain on schedule. Partners agreed to continue utilising their existing networks and communication channels to maximise the visibility and impact of project results.
