Scale Up Together! – Experiences from the InnoCamp in Åland
Nearly 40 growth‑minded companies from Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Åland took part in the international Scale Up Together! InnoCamp held on the Åland Islands.
The intensive three‑day programme offered inspiring presentations, an exchange of experiences, and opportunities to test ideas together with other participants in hands‑on workshops. A key focus was networking with like‑minded entrepreneurs and peer learning. The participating companies represented small‑scale food producers and rural tourism enterprises.
In this article, we have collected experiences from the InnoCamp shared by participants from different countries.
Jenny Jonstoij from the Interreg Central Baltic Programme, the National Contact Point for Åland, joined the InnoCamp and highlighted the importance of collaboration, as well as gaining new ideas and the courage to grow. Read more about what happened during the camp here (also in Swedish).
Sharing thoughts and experiences with entrepreneurs in each country is also important to encourage growth and development. Therefore, project partners have published blogs and news articles in their national languages.
- A TALK article published on the Turku University of Applied Sciences website describes the benefits of the innovation camp for small businesses in Finnish.
