SheCanAI project has confirmed its steering group

We are pleased to announce that the SheCanAI project has confirmed its international steering group, bringing together experts from Estonia and Latvia to support the quality, relevance and strategic direction of the programme. The steering group will help ensure that SheCanAI remains closely connected to labour market needs, developments in artificial intelligence, and practical pathways that support women in moving towards AI implementation-related roles.

Guna Puce from the Latvian AI Center brings valuable expertise in artificial intelligence development, ecosystem building and cooperation between research, business and public sector stakeholders. Her perspective will help SheCanAI stay connected to the wider AI ecosystem and emerging opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.

Kristiāna Raišonoka from the Transport and Telecommunication Institute contributes strong experience in higher education, technology, innovation and applied research. This expertise will support the development of a learning journey that is practical, high-quality and aligned with the skills needed in today’s rapidly changing digital environment.

Katre Eljas from AIRE – AI and Robotics Estonia adds hands-on expertise in AI and robotics. AIRE supports companies and organisations in adopting advanced technologies and strengthening digital innovation, making this contribution especially valuable for connecting the programme with real organisational needs and practical AI adoption.

Katrin Isotamm from Riigikantselei / Eesti.ai brings a public-sector perspective and strategic insight. Her contribution will help connect SheCanAI with broader national priorities related to AI, digital transformation and future skills.

Together, the steering group will provide valuable guidance as SheCanAI develops into a practical and impact-oriented programme supporting women in Estonia and Latvia to build confidence, skills and career opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence.
