The second round of the Scaling Experiences project has successfully started across Estonia, Latvia and Finland.
During August and September, participating companies from South Estonia, Virumaa, South Savo/South Karelia, Vidzeme and Latgale began their development journey through opening meetings, company visits and training activities.
In Estonia, the opening seminar for the Virumaa group took place on 7 September, followed by the South Estonia opening seminar on 10 September. The participants met the project teams and mentors, learned more about the programme and introduced their businesses and first development ideas.

In Finland, seven companies from South Savo and South Karelia started the programme with an intensive training day at XAMK Mikkeli Campus on 9 September. The participants explored the Experience Economy model, value creation, customer profiles, financial scaling and new product ideas.

In Latgale, seven tourism businesses met for the first time on 3 September in Rēzekne, where they got to know the project team and experts and discussed the activities ahead. Individual expert visits to the participating businesses have also already begun.

In Vidzeme, the programme started with visits to participating businesses during the summer, followed by a joint online meeting in September. The next steps will include individual mentoring, training and international exchange.

Over the coming months, the companies will work with mentors and experts, take part in training and networking activities, and develop new or improved experience-based tourism products and services.
We are excited to follow their journey and see new ideas grow into memorable experiences!
