WSM on a radio

The WSM – Water Safety Methodology project was recently featured on Raadio4 as part of the Annetamistalgud broadcast.

In addition to discussing the topic of donations, Darja Rovba introduced the international Central Baltic Partnership project “Water Safety Methodology”, highlighting the work carried out by the project team over the past one and a half years.

During the interview, Darja presented the project’s main objective — the development of a unified water safety methodology for young people aged 14–18. The methodology stands out for its clear and logical learning structure, common knowledge base, transparent assessment system, and, most importantly, its non-traditional, youth-friendly learning approach, making the acquisition of essential water safety skills engaging, safe and accessible.

The methodology is now approaching finalisation and will soon be shared with organisations and professionals working with young people, supporting modern and effective water safety education across the region.
