From Central Baltic, with results — A letter from SchoolFood WasteSolutions

Interreg Central Baltic has supported over one hundred projects since the start of the 2021–2027 programming period. These projects address diverse themes and regional needs, yet they all share one powerful approach: people working together across borders.

Throughout 2025 and 2026, we are pleased to share greetings from selected projects in the form of letters. The letter below comes from SchoolFood WasteSolutions, a Programme Objective 3 project where Latvian and Estonian partners work together to reduce food waste in school canteens and improve the overall quality of school meals.

This letter was submitted by Project Manager Ruta Priede from Lead Partner organisation Latgale Planning Region.
