CulDif Kick-off at Station Narva
On September 6th, 2024, the CulDif project officially began with a warm-up seminar and public discussion at Station Narva, part of the Station Narva programme. The event brought together youngsters and experts to discuss the future of Ida-Virumaa, with a focus on youth, creative entrepreneurship, technology, and artificial intelligence.
After the public discussion at Station Narva, the CulDif participants gathered for an ice-breaking and socializing session. During this time, they connected the themes of youth, entrepreneurship, and AI from the seminar with the objectives of the CulDif project.
Following the ice-breaking, the participants were introduced to the core aims and goals of the CulDif project. The discussion covered how the project aims to empower young people from diverse cultural backgrounds in Estonia and Finland, helping them to overcome employment challenges through entrepreneurship. The project facilitators also outlined the importance of cross-border cooperation, a key focus of the Central Baltic Programme.
Participants learned about the various platforms that will be used throughout the project, the importance of international collaboration, and the entrepreneurial mindset they would be developing over the coming months. The event set a solid foundation for the upcoming activities, ensuring that participants understood both the project’s goals and the wider impact on the region
